Turns out our favourite stretch of sand just got an ego boost — and frankly, we’re here for it. Playa Cocles has been named one of the 100 best beaches in the world, according to Corona (yes, the beer — not the thing that ruined your travel plans in 2020). And we’ve been fans since… well, forever.
What’s so great about it?
Well, this:
– Gold-dusted sand that glows like it’s got a ring light.
– Jungle rolling right up to the shoreline like it’s trying to sneak into your beach selfie.
– Surfers riding waves with the grace of caffeinated dolphins.
– Sloths and toucans occasionally photobombing your walk back to Geckoes Lodge.
And did we mention it’s about a twenty minutes flip-flop stroll from your pillow if you’re staying with us?
